Please Remember… DO NOT CRUSH YOUR CANS AS THE MACHINE CANNOT READ THE BARCODE.

If you bring your containers to the counter for us to sort… the payment for beer containers is 5¢ then. So you get more if you to use the machines!

As many of you are aware we have had many challenges for all the 28 years we’ve been in operation with paying 7¢ or 8¢ for domestic beer containers. The truth is, the majority of bottle depots in BC are not able to pay the full deposit for domestic beer containers as we are not yet licensed by the steward handling this product. We must pay our costs in handling these products so we are forced to discount and this affects the consumer unfortunately. At Willowbrook Recycling we strive to provide our valued clientele with meaningful customer service! Our choice to pay 10 cents is at our own expense in order to give our customers fair and legitimate payment. If we are unable to sustain our business with this change we will have to go back to paying a discounted deposit return. Please accept our sincere apology for any discomfort this situation might create.
